Posted by It’s been a busy few months with weddings, festivals and more. And we’ve had the pleasure to host customers from all over the world. Though they come from diverse cultural backgrounds, but they all had one thing in common – they were drawn to the unique craftsmanship and cultural significance behind each piece of Tanishq jewelry!
Take, for example, one of our customers who was all set for her bridesmaid duties stumbled upon our store in Houston by chance. Between dress fittings, rehearsals and last-minute chores, jewelry shopping was an extra welcome part of her role. She was looking for something classic yet novel, that would go with her bridesmaid dress. She was immediately drawn in by the intricate designs craved onto 18KT
and 22KT gold, and enquired more about the cultural significance behind each piece. As she tried various jewels, she told our staff that the craftsmanship won her over, it was something she considered rare. We also had a newlywed couple from Qatar visit our store during their trip to Houston. They told us that it was their first time at a Tanishq store and what made them step in was the variety of bangles and bracelets that they simply couldn’t resist! And fair enough, we understand that each customer of ours has this one type of jewel that they have an extra soft spot for.
Once they started to browse, they couldn’t help but comment on how there was this beauty and timeless elegance of Indian craftsmanship that they hadn’t seen before. After debating a few options, they selected a diamond studded bracelet – its celestial design reminded the bride of a starlit night sky. After all, diamonds really are the ultimate sparkle, so she deemed this something she would always wear to anchor her and remind her about the wonders of the universe. Just before they left, they let us know that they were especially taken with the warm hospitality they received from our team!
